For 11-year-old Lovey, a rebellious, sensitive outsider, from a poor Hawaiian plantation town, life is more than a bad hair day—it’s a daily challenge. Adapted from writer Lois-Ann Yamanaka’s Wild Meat and the Bully Burgers, FISHBOWL follows Lovey’s comical—and often painful—quest to be anyone but herself.
