Eric Alterman Alterman is professor of English and journalism at Brooklyn College, the "Liberal Media" columnist for The Nation, senior fellow and "Altercation" weblogger for Media Matters for America. He is a senior fellow at the World Policy Institute at the New School University and at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C., where he writes and edits the "Think Again" column. He is also a history consultant for HBO Films. |

Theresa Amato Amato, the national campaign manager for both Nader 2000 and 2004, is a Chicago lawyer and the author of Grand Illusion, The Fantasy of Voter Choice in a Two-Party Tyranny (The New Press, Spring 2008). Amato was formerly the director of Nader's Freedom of Information Clearinghouse and a litigator in Washington D.C. with Public Citizen's Litigation Group. In 1993, she founded the Citizen Advocacy Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to building democracy. |

Pat Buchanan Politician, author, syndicated columnist and broadcaster Buchanan ran in the 2000 presidential election on the Reform Party ticket. He also sought the Republican presidential nomination in 1992 and 1996. Buchanan has been a senior advisor to three American presidents: Nixon, Ford and Reagan. |

Joan Claybrook Claybrook has worked on improving highway and auto safety for the past 35 years. In 1966, she teamed up with Ralph Nader to successfully lobby for the passage of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act and the Highway Safety Act. Claybrook has served as president of Public Citizen since 1982 and was the administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration from 1977 to 1981. She also founded and ran Public Citizen's Congress Watch and has worked for the Public Interest Research Group, the National Traffic Safety Bureau, the Social Security Administration and the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. |
