Lynn Novick
Lynn Novick has been working in the production of programs for public television for more than a decade. She began as a production assistant at WNET in New York, working on a local public affairs program, Metroline. She then worked as researcher and associate producer for Bill Moyers on two major PBS series: Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth (1987) and A World of Ideas with Bill Moyers (1988).
Novick began her long collaboration with Ken Burns in 1989, first as an associate producer on the landmark The Civil War. She then spent five years as Producer (along with Burns) of the eighteen-hour series, Baseball, for which she won an Emmy Award.. She also co-directed and co-produced (with Burns) the two-part biographical film on the life and work of Frank Lloyd Wright, which won a Peabody award.
