The set of lesson plans that draws from the PBS series,THE JEWISH AMERICANS, explores immigration, identity, contribution, assimilation, discrimination, change, and confrontation.  The plans may be used for a deeper examination of the ways Jewish life fits into U.S. history. The set may also frame comparative research of non-Jewish immigrant experiences.
