    Viewer’s Guide
The Viewer’s Guide, a companion to the first five episodes of the PBS series Reading Rockets: Launching Young Readers, provides information on helping children learn to read. It includes descriptions for each program segment with timecodes.

    Reading Rocks! Viewers' Guide Addendum
This discussion guide is a companion to Reading Rocks!, our empowering, upbeat, and totally hip show for kids ages 7-12 years old. The discussion guide includes suggestions to get kids thinking and talking, as well as advice for parents and teachers.

    Family Guide
The Family Guide is published in Spanish and English, and includes tips for helping children get the most out of reading, pointers on working with schools and teachers, ideas for using your public library, valuable website addresses, and more.

    Teacher’s Guide
The Teacher’s Guide is a useful tool for classroom teachers of preschool through second grade. The information provided is based on instructional techniques and strategies that scientifically-based reading research shows are effective. The guide contains program descriptions, lists of typical reading achievements by grade level, suggestions for fostering the literacy development of children, and more.

    Empowering Parents Guide
From the moment your child is born, there are simple things you can do to help him or her become a good reader. This guide helps parents build a child's early reading skills at home, recognize signs of trouble, support the child as he or she enters school, understand options for extra support, and recognize when parents need to go outside the school for help.
