Baker Hamilton report: The Iraq Study Group made a forward-looking, independent assessment of the current and prospective situation on the ground in Iraq and how it affects the surrounding region as well as U.S. interests. A final report was released to Congress, the White House, and the public on December 6, 2006.

Malalai Joya: Malalai Joya is an Afghan politician and former member of the Afghan Parliament. She's a strong advocate for women's rights.

Senlis Council report- "The Senlis Council, a group based in Europe and Afghanistan, proposes legalizing and managing the poppy crops, turning them into medicines such as morphine. It wants to adapt a program that largely eliminated heroin production in Turkey in the 1970s with the support of President Nixon and Congress."
