John Bogle, described by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the investment industry's "four giants of the 20th century," joins Bill Moyers to talk about the crisis of confidence in corporate America. Mr. Bogle founded The Vanguard Group in 1974, which he then grew into one of the two largest mutual fund organizations in the world.

"Corporations have responsibilities as corporate citizens...We have some ethical obligation, some fiduciary duty to do the right thing in America, and I think corporations have ignored that to too great an extent."

Mr. Bogle is the author of BOGLE ON MUTUAL FUNDS: NEW PERSPECTIVES FOR THE INTELLIGENT INVESTOR, a best-selling investment book since publication. Mr. Bogle's second book, COMMON SENSE ON MUTUAL FUNDS: NEW IMPERATIVES FOR THE INTELLIGENT INVESTOR, is also a best-seller. Mr Bogle is also the author of JOHN BOGLE ON INVESTING: THE FIRST 50 YEARS, published in 2000 and CHARACTER COUNTS: THE CREATION AND BUILDING OF THE VANGUARD GROUP, 2002.
