Teacher's guide credits
This teacher's guide to The Mississippi: River of Song was developed under the supervision of MENC: The National Association for Music Education, the organization of more than 70,000 music educators devoted to providing a complete, balanced, sequential education that includes music to all American students.
Activities in the guide were written by Marilyn Copland Davidson, a music consultant and writer with thirty-five years of experience teaching at all levels and the principal coordinating author of the McGraw-Hill Share the Music and Music and You; and by Cynthia Downing, a teacher with Fairfax County (Virginia) public schools.
