2. SIGNING IN User Name and Password When you click on the Members Entrance link provided in your Welcome email message, you will be asked to enter your user name and your password. These are both listed at the end of the Welcome message. Be sure to enter these items exactly as they appear in that e-mail message. (Watch out for upper and lower case, and be careful of spaces.)
Cookies Cookies are little files that reside on your hard drive. (They don't do anything but help our web site to recognize you when you come back.) If you check the box next to "Remember my screen name and password", every time you log on to the American Love Stories site, the web site will remember who you are and your name and password will be filled in automatically. You should not choose the set cookies option if you use a public computer or share your computer with a number of people. Continue After
you have entered your user name and password, click "Continue". If
the information you entered is correct, you will be taken to the main dialogues
page. If you ever forget your password, you can enter your user name and
then click "Continue". The reminder question you picked for your
password will be displayed, and if you answer it correctly, your password
will be revealed.
