National Association of Destroyer Veterans
The National Association of Destroyer Veterans, Tin Can Sailors was founded in 1976 and serves Destroyer Veterans through newspaper, events, ship's store, free admissions, etc. They support the Historic Fleet through the Destroyer Museum Grant Program and with volunteer labor, and also support the Active Fleet through free distribution of their newspaper and contributions to Navy Relief.
Naval Historical Center
The Naval Historical Center manages the Navy Department Library, twelve Navy museums, art collections, archives, and an underwater archaeology program. On the web site, you can research any number of naval history topics online and check out new public and educational programs and exhibits offered at Navy museums all over the country.
Naval Reserve Association
The Naval Reserve Association is the premier professional organization for Navy Reserve officers and enlisted, and speaks solely for the Navy, the Naval Reserve, and Naval Reserve officers.
Navy League of The United States
The Navy League of the United States was founded in 1902 and works closely with the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and US-flag Merchant Marine through a network of 265 councils in the U.S. and around the world. The Navy League has more than 65,000 active members.
