How Supreme Court justices spend their summer break

The Supreme Court justices wrapped up the last term at the end of June and won't meet again until late August or September to discuss the cases for the next term. So what do the eight members of the nation's highest court do with their summer break? As CNN's Joan Biskupic explains, many of the justices will be traveling overseas. Clarence Thomas is headed to France, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg is going to Spain. Whether they are traveling to promote their books or to teach, all of them are available for emergency orders.
