Glass is a great choice for a geodesic dome greenhouse!
In 1988, the Missouri Botanical Garden tore all 3,625 plastic panels from its geodesic greenhouse, the Climatron, and replaced them with glass. Glass panels require less maintenance and provide better insulation than plastic panels. Unfortunately, they're also more expensive. Most glass greenhouses of this size cost just under $10 million to build. Luckily, you have just enough money in your budget to build this dome!
