Ribbed Dome with Plastic Panels
Plastic is a good choice for a greenhouse. It's light, it's cheap, and it allows lots of sunlight to reach the plants. Unfortunately, it also requires a lot of maintenance.

Ribbed dome + Plastic = Caution

Plastic is cheaper than glass, which is why most small greenhouses have plastic panels. Unfortunately, plastic must be replaced often because it scratches easily. The seams, or connections between the plastic panels, also tend to leak. Your greenhouse is quite large, and the Char County Botanical Garden does not have enough money to spend on dome repairs.

Try a different design or a material that requires less maintenance.
