Build long, supporting arms
In the Middle Ages, gothic builders constructed enormous stone cathedrals with glass walls. Without reinforcement, the glass-filled walls would have collapsed outward, and the ceilings would have crashed to the ground. So the gothic builders pushed back -- with long stone arms called flying buttresses. You've saved the cathedral. Good work! |
