Miles Alvord
Senior Producer, Streaming Strategy
GBH Documentary Unit
Miles Alvord oversees streaming strategy for the GBH Documentary Unit, which includes FRONTLINE, NOVA and American Experience.
He began his career at GBH in 2014 as an intern for FRONTLINE, and over the years has been a key driver behind the series’ successful YouTube strategy that has significantly expanded FRONTLINE’s digital footprint and streaming audience.
Miles has also lent digital production and video editing expertise to several award-winning journalism projects. His work includes contributions to the interactive “War Crime Watch Ukraine,” which earned the Philip Meyer Journalism Award, and the Tom Renner Award for contributions to the documentary Putin’s Attack on Ukraine: Documenting War Crimes.
A Tennessee native, Miles graduated from the University of Tennessee, which included international coursework studying abroad at Nihon University in Japan.
