This library resource kit is designed to bring to life Galileo's many accomplishments and his enthusiasm for science. Use the bibliography to acquaint visitors with Galileo's life by providing them with Galileo's own publications, or steer young adults to examples of jobs in physics and astronomy with the careers resources page. Organize a star party with tips in the library programming handout, or help children build a water clock with one of the activities in the reproducible handout. Or use the science lesson with young adults to help them understand the nature of sunspots, a phenomenon studied by Galileo.
