FRONTLINE Nominated for 11 Emmy Awards

FRONTLINE has earned 11 News and Documentary Emmy Award nominations this year for nine documentaries — including an experimental digital film — and a promotional campaign.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced its 2014 nominations, including 43 total nods for PBS, today.

“We’re so proud of the remarkable teams that worked so hard to do this tough, tenacious reporting and tell these important stories,” said Raney Aronson-Rath, FRONTLINE deputy executive producer, and David Fanning, FRONTLINE executive producer. “It’s an honor for our work to be recognized in this way.”

FRONTLINE has won 65 Emmy Awards to date. Last year, Fanning — FRONTLINE’s founder — was recognized with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Emmy.
