This independent dealer, appraiser, and consultant has been selected for inclusion in the 2008 edition of "Who's Who in America." He is in his 10th year as an appraiser on ANTIQUES ROADSHOW. He specializes in Asian antiques, silver, and also Russian enamel/Faberge objects. He consults in estate liquidation, and has lectured at the University of Wisconsin and several museums.

He had his training and education in New York City and has a B.A. from the City College of New York. For over 25 years he was employed by a major dealer, becoming vice president and directing several galleries. He traveled and bought widely here and also in England, Japan, Hong Kong, and China. Clients included world-renowned collectors and dealers. His personal collection has been on museum loan.

In the 1970s he had a gallery in Winnetka. Illinois. For 20 years he was a senior (certified) member of The American Society of Appraisers, has rendered appraisals for museums and leading law firms, and has assisted insurance companies in cases of potential fraud. He has given evidence in Federal Court in New York State and in the U.S. Customs Court.

For the past 20 years he has been a member of The Oriental Ceramic Society of London, England.
