Brian Witherell holds a bachelor of arts degree from Sonoma State University and has been actively involved in the antiques industry as a dealer, auctioneer and appraiser since youth. Together with his father Brad, he operates a gallery in Sacramento, California, specializing in investment-grade firearms, western Americana, and 19th-century American furniture. They are both involved with many benevolent organizations concerned with the education and connoisseurship of American art and antiques and have lectured and published authoritative books in their respective fields.
