he will find a church that is politically expediant. that should be easy. all he needs is to find one that puts on a dog and pony show and makes america think that this president is a spiritual person. he will join one but say the church doesn’t effect his politics so he will look pure as the driven snow but never let the church run his life. that way he will come off as a man of the people. you see it is all a show.

Obama should not be forced to attend any church.
Church attendance is an out of date concept and then there is the problem of church and state conflicts.
He doesn’t need a church he needs time off.

I would recommend the Obama’s consider a non-denominational church to please all of America.

Have the Obamas not gone to church since fall? Does anyone know if they have? I also hope that Obama has some good spiritual guidance. And those kids need it too.

Perhaps the greatest evils of the past have been done in the name of God.
I believe the Obamas should attend all churches in all religions, leading the way to religious tolerance and acceptance of others. It is the American way!

I think The President Elect should attend Peace United Church of Christ. Since this denomination is in keeping with his overall prespective on worship and inclusivity. The United Church of Christ has a rich history and as I am sure President Obama knows “one church does not stop one from worshiping in the same denomination. I would thank all of America to seek their own worship place and leave the decision of where the Obama Family will worship up to them.

I agree with comment #3–as Spirit filled Christians, we are prayerfully interested in the spiritual journey of our sisters & brothers in Christ. The Obama’s will hopefully choose the church that nurture their spirit & soul that Pres.-elect Obama may govern in wisdom, with integrity & respect for all persons & in their best interest. A president can only govern with integrity if he is led by God. Certainly, Mrs. Obama will need grace to continue as a good wife, mother & supporter of her family.
