| I'm writing about a quilt that
I made for my father and mother in law. They celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary in 1998. I knew I wanted to make them a very special quilt to
celebrate their 50 years together.
I decided to make a photo transfer quilt and incorporated pictures of
them through their 50 years. I also had fabric that my mother-in-law had
given me from quilts she had made. So I used her fabric in making their
quilt. The back of the quilt has fabric that was purchased. It has words
from the wedding vows printed on it.
This quilt was made without a pattern. It is my own original design.
Also it is only the second quilt that I had made. It is called "Memories".
