Paul Anthony Carroll, of the United Kingdom, is a manager with the Railtrack West Coast Main Line, and is working on the development of control centers to manage the United Kingdom's Railways. Prior to joining the rail industry, Carroll was an engineer with 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, mainly in the North Sea. He has a studied interest in the South Atlantic and Sub-Antarctic Islands and has created an extensive Web site dedicated to the flora, fauna, animals, geography, politics and history of the islands, including South Georgia.
