How do you imagine God?

At fifty two I don't imagine much anymore. The mystery, the magic and the wonder of life has all but gone out of my life, I'm just surviving. But I see God or should I say I imagine God as personified energy that is connected to all that is living, be it human or animal, or the smallest microscopic particle that has life. Somehow he is connected to it all, and to various degrees he is involved in their life. Although I cannot explain this mystery nor do I care to understand it. It just what I imagine.

My parents did not raised me to be any particular religion, but they did not oppose me from going to various churches either.
Are your beliefs or practices different from your parents? If so, how and why?

Yes,my parents did not go to church, read the bible, pray or do anything spiritual. My dad may have gone to church when he was younger, but the last time he went to church he had a bad experience and swore he would not step his foot inside another church. My mom would say she believe in God but did not see the need to go to church, today I believe people would say I am spiritual but religious.
