God in America and USA WEEKEND Magazine are partnering to explore Americans' images of God.

How do you imagine God? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I don't. Though I do understand why most people do want to imagine a mythical omnipotent creature that punishes the bad and rewards the good. They feel powerless to change their lives ro in many cases are powerless. They trade one form of oppression for another and the hope of better things to come at the end of life.

How easy or difficult is it to live your faith? Why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Very easy, but the practice of bettering one's awareness in an effort to end suffering is difficult but rewarding.

Should courses about religion be taught in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Certainly. These are the beliefs of billions people and although I disagree it is important to understand.
Should the Bible, Torah, Quran or other religious texts be taught as works of literature in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Certainly.
Is interfaith dialogue important? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Dialogue between people no matter their beliefs is important.
Do you feel comfortable discussing your faith with others? Why/why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Not at all. Religious people sometimes become angry or agitated as my belief may cause them to question their own faith.
Do you feel that you have a duty, because of your faith, to put your beliefs into action? What are some of those actions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Of course. Words and thoughts are meaningless if you do not practice kindness each and every minute.
Are religious beliefs compromised by engaging in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Only to the very shallow.
