Africa
- Wildlife
Home to the fastest, the tallest, and the largest, Africa’s
highly evolved animal species are the least likely to fall prey to
human interference. From the giant mammals of the savannah –
elephants, rhinoceros, hippos, giraffe, and the big cats – to
the chimpanzees and gorillas of the jungle, and truly unique species
like the zebra, the wildlife of Tropical Africa is a wonder to behold.
But none of these species are capable of domestication. Only cattle
imported from the north, becomes a vital tool to farmers.
