This is the world’s smallest continent and lies in the geographic
region of Oceania, which also includes New Zealand, Papua New Guinea
and the islands of Polynesia.
Home to just 20 million people this is the only continent to lie
entirely within the Southern hemisphere, and is the most isolated
in the world.
