Europe
- Wildlife
Lacking the giant mammals of other continents, Europe offers a mixed
bag to the skilled hunter. Gazelle, Oryx and Onager are notoriously
wary of humans and difficult to catch. Other mammals, like rabbits,
provide an insubstantial quantity of meat. Wolves are dangerous but
can be tamed and even domesticated. Bovine and Caprine species offer
the safest bet. The ancestors of modern cows, sheep and goats, they
can be captured and controlled, providing steady and reliable sources
of meat, milk, wool, leather and draught power.
