Susan Han - Lead Producer & Writer Susan is a Current Affairs Producer at KCTS-TV, and Precious Children was her third international effort. Her ongoing productions include Serious Money, a weekly business program; Ask the Governor, a bimonthly call-in talk show; and Front Porch Forum, a civic journalism reporting partnership with The Seattle Times and KUOW-FM. Before joining KCTS in 1992, she was a researcher at Evening at KING-TV in Seattle, Washington. Susan is a graduate of the University of Washington. Mona Lee Locke - Narrator & Co-Producer Mona is First Lady of Washington State. She co-chairs the Governor's Commission on Early Learning with Melinda French Gates, and is the proud mother of Emily and Dylan. Before joining her husband, Governor Gary Locke, in political life, she was a reporter at KING-TV in Seattle, Washington. Mona is a graduate of the University of California-Berkeley, with a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Valerie Vozza - Photographer/Editor Valerie has been shooting and editing for broadcast for 18 years. She is a versatile photographer, with projects that have taken her around the world, including the national PBS series, Fire on the Rim, and an independent documentary on China, The Fragile Rice Bowl. In 1990, she won the prestigious Peabody Award for Excellence in Journalism, and on the local production scene, she has won four Regional Emmy Awards. |
