PBS short activity for vice presidential debate!

WATCH THE DEBATE LIVE HERE: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/pence-harris-face-off-in-vice-presidential-debate Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., go head to head Oct. 7 in the first and only vice presidential debate of the general election. The incumbent and his Democratic challenger share the stage at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City with moderator Susan Page of USA Today. The 90-minute debate, starting at 9 p.m. EDT, is split into nine 10-minute segments, with no ad breaks. The topics of the segments have yet to be announced. (PBS NewsHour) 1. Debate activity for 2020 Vice Presidential Debate: Have students use this short #Debate Handout as they watch the vice presidential debate. Students should choose THREE issues and record what the candidates' said and share how well they think the candidates responded. 2. Create a #VicePresidentialDebate BINGO sheet and discuss in class the next day.
