An In Depth Exploration
The articles presented here are provided by our outreach partner, The Alban Institute. They have been selected from contributions to The Alban Institute's Congregations Magazine, as well as excerpts from books and other publications. The Alban Institue is an ecumenical, interfaith organization founded in 1974, which supports congregations through consulting services, research, book publishing, and educational seminars.
The concepts explored in this section relate to both the issues raised in the film and topics covered as part of the Many Voices project. They should provide insight for congregations working to define their goals for community outreach, youth engagement and the relationship between a place of worships leader and the overall congregation. Many of these authors have worked as consultants to a variety of congregations, helping guide discussions and create plans for overcoming challenges or just redefining goals to address changing times and needs.
