This fall, NPR correspondent Alex Chadwick has been traveling across the country listening to America in his own unique way. The tools of his trade? Nothing more than a card table, a hand lettered sign-his trademark Panama hat--and an invitation to pull up a chair and talk awhile.

FRONTLINE examines the things we have learned about Al Gore and George W. Bush during this long campaign that might tell us something about what kind of president each would be. What lies at the political core of each man? What might he actually do when he gets to the White House?

This September, FRONTLINE identified five undecided voters in St. Louis County, Missouri to track through Election Day. Watch their video, then follow their online diaries as they progress toward their final decisions.
