Many of the chemicals we are exposed to every day are in our own homes – in food, consumer products, building materials, furniture and even dust tracked in from outdoors. Bug sprays are obvious sources of toxic exposure, as are paints and solvents. But many other potentially unsafe toxics lurk in the typical home.
