Stone Mountain:
summit elevation 1,686 feet!
We took the Summit Skyride to the top for an amazing view of the Atlanta skyline and the Appalachian Mountains.
We hiked the Cherokee Trail through the forest and around the base of the mountain. Five whole miles!
Saw an Eastern bluebird, a red fox, and a white-tailed deer in the woods.
Set up camp by Stone Mountain Lake. I helped pitch the tent!
