Censors block United Press correspondent Westbrook Pegler's report on how U.S. soldiers on the front lines in France were dying from pneumonia, due to a lack of dry clothing. General John J. Pershing has the 23-year-old Pegler recalled from the front, ostensibly because he was too young and inexperienced to be a war correspondent.
