Making Your Own Generator
What you'll need:
- cardboard
- 15cm (6 in.) long iron nail with a 6mm (1/4 in.) diameter and a large head
- 8-10cm (3-4 in.) long bolt with a 6mm (1/4 in.) diameter, and nut
- 25m (82 ft.) enamelled copper wire (30 swg or approx. 0.3mm diameter)*
- button magnet (with mounting hole)*
- 6V, 0.06A flashlight bulb and socket*
- a roll of insulating tape*
- a hand drill
* Obtainable from home centers or electronics stores.
