President Joe Biden is abroad this week, commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day while warning of risks to democracy around the world. His trip comes at a critical time, as the U.S.  faces challenges from China, Russia and Iran. 

On a special edition of Washington Week with The Atlantic, moderator Jeffrey Goldberg will be joined by Thomas L. Friedman, a Foreign Affairs Columnist at The New York Times, to discuss the difficulties in the Middle East, and the state of play in the war between Israel and Iran
