Coming up on Washington Week with The Atlantic:
Signal Leak
Fallout continues from The Atlantic's explosive report this week that top members of President Trump’s national security team discussed military attack plans in a Signal group chat that inadvertently included Atlantic editor in chief and moderator Jeffrey Goldberg. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who accidentally added Goldberg to “Houthi PC small group”, and Secretary Pete Hegseth, who shared precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing, are facing calls to resign. Bipartisan senate leaders are calling for an independent inspector general investigation into the security lapse.
Jeffrey Golberg discusses this and more with:
- Peter Baker, Chief White House Correspondent, The New York Times
- Laura Barrón-López, White House Correspondent, PBS News Hour
- Susan Glasser, Staff Writer, The New Yorker
- Shane Harris, Staff Writer, The Atlantic
Major funding for “Washington Week with The Atlantic” is provided by Consumer Cellular, the Yuen Foundation, Sandra and Carl DeLay-Magnuson, Rose Hirschel and Andy Shreeves, Robert and Susan Rosenbaum, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and PBS.
