Republicans Divided
In the waning days before Election Day, Republicans appear split. Some of them are criticizing Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s controversial campaign ad against his democratic opponent, amid concerns that it could have negative down ballot consequences for Sen. Jon Husted, who’s engaged in a tight race to keep his seat.
The President has prompted bipartisan backlash with his dismissal of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, while his special envoy Steve Witkoff touted Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “humanitarian.”
