John Kasich​, the last man standing against Donald J. Trump​ in the Republican primary race, officially suspended his presidential campaign Wednesday, making the New York businessman the presumptive Republican nominee. "As I suspend by campaign today, I have renewed faith, deeper faith, that the Lord will show me the way forward and fulfill the purpose of my life," Kasich said in his home state Ohio.
