What did you think of today's challenge?
I really enjoyed the challenge presented before me. Being able to utilize the local farmers market was a nice touch.
What did you prepare today?
5 course menu: lemon mint Granite; Tomato cigar; pork quenelles in savory onion broth; salt?? NY strip steak; sugar plum crepes.
How do you think you did? Is there anything you wish you'd done better?
I felt strong in my execution but as far as the quality and taste in the allotted time, that was different. My communication with J.P. I would say was at a level of 8.
What was the highlight of the day's events?
My highlight was drawing the number one and having the option of who started.
Are there any lessons you took away from today?
Tasting things before they are presented to the judges.
What was the most constructive or interesting piece of feedback you heard from the Judges?
Verbal communication and being on the same page when working in a team environment.
How do you think you are doing in relation to your fellow competitors?
I feel I am doing well and improving with each challenge.
Who do you think is faring the best and why (we recognize this changes from day-to-day)?
Matthew; he is solid.
What do you think your fellow competitors think of you (we recognize this changes from day-to-day)?
I think they realize that I am tough and that they can't rule me out until the judges do.
