Episode 8 Journal
What did you think of today's challenge?
It was sort of chaotic, with lots to do and time was cut short.
What did you prepare today?
Hearts of palm salad; skirt steak marinated in Moho; lime cilantro rice; chicken covered in mango cilantro adobo; plantain and cumin yogurt; dessert with a key lime dark rum.
How do you think you did? Is there anything you wish you'd done better?
I felt ok, but was not for taking a leadership role early on.
What was the highlight of the day's events?
J.P. being cut, since we sort of thought he was one of the leaders.
Are there any lessons you took away from today?
Yeah — watch out — the judges can be looking at anything.
What was the most constructive or interesting piece of feedback you heard from the judges?
Just their outlook on a situation in general.
How do you think you are doing in relation to your fellow competitors?
Not sure, but I am in the spotlight a lot-which is good and bad.
Who do you think is faring the best and why (we recognize this changes from day-to-day)?
I guess Sara since I haven't seen her do anything wrong.
What do you think your fellow competitors think of you (we recognize this changes from day-to-day)?
No idea anymore.
