Episode 4 Journal

What did you think of today's challenge?

I thought it was brilliant, the whole team concept.

What did you prepare today?

French halved lamb chops with a shallot veal stock shitake sauce, herb risotto marinated seared asparagus with prosuitto; fresh fruit parfait, chilled jasmine tea.

How do you think you did? Is there anything you wish you'd done better?

Yes, creamed my garlic, took the lead in the sauce.

What was the highlight of the day's events?

Working with Autumn.

Are there any lessons you took away from today?

Not to be so nervous when I am talking to the judges.

What was the most constructive or interesting piece of feedback you heard from the judges?

That they aren't overlooking anything! And I will have to stay on my toes!

How do you think you are doing in relation to your fellow competitors?

I think we all get along pretty well.

Who do you think is faring the best and why (we recognize this changes from day-to-day)?

I think Katsuji's creativity and personality is OFF the scale! The man is a revolutionary and a visionary in this field.

What do you think your fellow competitors think of you (we recognize this changes from day-to-day)?

I think they think I am too easy going, but that's what I want them to think.
