About the Show
Marble Hall Murders, an adaptation of the third and final installment in best-selling novelist Anthony Horowitz’s Susan Ryeland series, premieres Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, 9/8c, only on MASTERPIECE in PBS. This is a follow-up to the critically acclaimed fan-favorites Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders, which premiered on MASTERPIECE in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
In Marble Hall Murders, Editor Susan Ryeland (Lesley Manville) is hired to work on a continuation novel of the Atticus Pünd (Tim McMullan) series, written by a troubled young author. When the job leads Susan into another murder case, she unexpectedly finds herself a suspect. In the world of the novel, Atticus Pünd is visiting the Isle of Corfu when he becomes embroiled in the murder of Lady Margaret Chalfont, whose family he investigates with the assistance of a Greek detective.
