Grantchester Season 10 | June 15 at 9/8c
Vicars may come and go in the quiet (yet murderous) village of Grantchester, but as long as Detective Inspector Geordie Keating remains on the job, we have faith that all the wrongdoers will get their comeuppance. “One of the key aspects that makes this long-running series so satisfying is the evolution of Geordie…who has grown under the influence of these men of the cloth,” says TV Insider.
In Season 10, Alphy’s settling into Grantchester—and into a deeper friendship with Geordie. Love’s a trickier puzzle for the vicar, until a case leads him straight into its path. But first, Alphy will need to face a few hard truths about himself. Meanwhile, Geordie’s wrestling with his expectations for his young son and Cathy’s taking a bold step to advance her career with some help from Mrs. Chapman.
The first of eight new episodes debuted on Sunday, June 15—just in time for summer sleuthing. Check out the Season 10 trailer; watch Grantchester Seasons 1 to 10 now (and any time) with PBS Passport.

The Marlow Murder Club Season 2 | August 24 at 9/8c
This DIY detective series is based on the bestselling novels by Robert Thorogood (Death in Paradise). When murder visits the quaint riverside town of Marlow, a trio of ladies—a retired archaeologist, a dog walker, and a clergyman’s wife—join forces as wannabe detectives. It’s great fun to watch “women in an idyllic English town undertake their own murder investigation, pestering police all the while,” says The Wall Street Journal.
In Season 2, life in Marlow is just returning to normal when Judith (Samantha Bond), Becks (Cara Horgan), and Suzie (Jo Martin) are called back into action. The sleuthing trio delve into every corner of village life as they help DCI Tanika Malik (Natalie Dew) investigate a new series of unsettling crimes. To do so, they navigate the delicate balance of Marlow society—from local aristocracy to boatyard workers, and from the picturesque High Street to a newly established archaeological dig.
The Marlow Murder Club Season 2 arrived on Sunday, August 24 at 9/8c. While waiting for August to come, check out or rewatch The Marlow Murder Club Season 1 with PBS Passport, an added member benefit.

Unforgotten Season 6 | August 24 at 10/9c
Audiences have waited two years for this critically acclaimed cold case procedural to return to Mystery! Each season of Unforgotten cracks open a single cold case, long buried but never dead. DCI Jess James and DI Sunny Khan dive into the shadows of the past, chasing threads that connect seemingly unrelated suspects in search of the truth. “In its combination of strong casts, ample twists, and the inevitable dispensation of justice…[Unforgotten] is reliably solid,” says The Guardian (UK).
Sinéad Keenan and Sanjeev Bhaskar are back on the case as detective duo Jess James and Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan. In Season 6, we follow them and their team unravelling the truth behind a dismembered body found in Whitney Marsh.
Unforgotten Season 6 debuted on Sunday, August 24 at 10/9c, directly following The Marlow Murder Club. Meanwhile, you can dig into the investigations of Seasons 1 through 5 (in the U.S.) when you watch with PBS Passport.

Maigret | October 5 at 9/8c
MASTERPIECE Mystery! is set to debut the first-ever contemporary TV adaptation of Georges Simenon’s iconic detective novels, introducing a fresh take on Chief Inspector Jules Maigret—the brilliant, brooding Parisian sleuth. In the City of Light’s shadows, Maigret is less interested in how a crime was committed than why. A quiet force, he leads a fiercely devoted team, possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of Paris, and shares a tender bond with his wife.
Benjamin Wainwright (Belgravia: The Next Chapter, Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim) dons the trench coat of Maigret, while Stefanie Martini (The Gold) brings warmth and strength to the role of Madame Louise Maigret. Joining them are Blake Harrison (World on Fire), Reda Elazouar, Kerrie Hayes, Shaniqua Okwok, and Rob Kazinsky as the steadfast “Les Maigrets,” a team as multifaceted as Paris itself. Nathalie Armin rounds out the cast as formidable Prosecutor Mathilde Kernavel.
As for when Maigret will premiere? That, mes amis, is a mystery still waiting to be solved.

The Gold Season 1
This true crime drama is a remarkable and highly entertaining look at one of the world’s biggest heists. Specifically, the 1983 Brink’s-Mat Robbery, where masked bandits made off with £1 million in gold bricks and then had to convert it into spendable cash. The exhilarating chase to follow that money provides nonstop suspense and a web of deceptions that keep you glued to your seat. “The Gold is worth its weight,” says Vulture. “Blood, sweat, and gold always mix well.”
Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville leads the star-studded cast as DCI Brian Boyce, an incorruptible lawman who’s hot on that money trail. His focus is an intermediary fence named Kenneth Noye, played with fiery rage by Jack Lowden (Slow Horses). The cast also includes Tom Cullen, Dominic Cooper, Charlotte Spencer (Sanditon), and Emun Elliott (Guilt).
The debut of The Gold Season 1 is still TBD, though MASTERPIECE has already teased that Season 2 is coming, and will dive into the decades-long fallout of the original heist. We’re all in for the ride!
