As far as water use, even today new facilities that are put up
with— to make— to process biomass into either
fuels or organic chemicals achieve very, very large quantities
of water recycle. I'm actually speaking of the processing
facility now and I'm talking on the order of 95 percent, which
means that although there's a lot of water flowing through,
most of it's flowing in a circle. And in fact, the only real
losses, to a first approximation, is the steam out of a
cooling tower, and even that can be minimized, depending on
how you do your business.
