Lake Chandalar
Just under seven feet deep, Lake Chandalar is slowly losing surface
area to an ever-growing margin of
shelfstone, on which
the two cavers in this image crouch. Lake Chandalar offers access to
the Lebarge Borehole, an impressive tubular corridor lined with pure
white gypsum.
