Before NOVA begins its construction, the Rainbow Bridge only exists in a 900-year-old painting that shows the bustling capital city of Kaifeng. This ancient bridge has been a life-long obsession of Professor Tang Huan Cheng, one of the most eminent historians of bridges in China.
