In the ocean waters off the California coast, a wounded seal swims slowly
toward shore. It keeps a lookout for danger but
sees no sign of predators. Little does the seal know that far off in the
distance a shark has detected it and is moving swiftly toward what could soon
be its next meal!
What the seal doesn't know is that a shark uses its six senses to detect
the seal and find its exact location. If you knew how the shark uses these
senses, maybe you could do something to save the seal.
