Visual Effects Supervisor, "Titanic" Rob Legato is Creative Director and Senior Visual Effects Supervisor at Digital Domain. He won the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects for his work on "Titanic" and was nominated for the same award for "Apollo 13." Previously, Legato was a visual effects supervisor and director for numerous television commercials, visual effects supervisor/second unit director for "Interview with the Vampire," and visual effects supervisor for the television series "The Twilight Zone," "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine." He graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography in cinematography.
