increasing number of people believe this to be true, and thousands have come
forward claiming to have personally experienced an alien abduction. This
growing phenomenon prompted NOVA to investigate these claims. This NOVA program
follows these believers into group therapy and hypnosis sessions, and examines
experiments dealing with memory. Through interviews with skeptics and
believers, the program offers alternative, Earth-based explanations for alien
abduction stories.
